# Notifications & Digests

> Configure email notifications, activity digests, and communication preferences.

Founder Sherpa sends email notifications for key events and periodic activity summaries. You control exactly which emails you receive from the **Settings** page.

## Managing preferences

1. Click your user menu in the sidebar and go to **Settings**
2. Scroll to the **Notifications** section
3. Toggle each notification type on or off
4. Click **Save changes**

## Notification types

| Notification                 | Description                                             | Default |
| ---------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- | ------- |
| **Organization invitations** | Receive an email when you're invited to an organization | On      |
| **Welcome email**            | Receive a welcome email after signing up                | On      |
| **Activity digest**          | Periodic summary of organization activity               | On      |

## Activity digests

When the activity digest is enabled, you can choose how often you receive it:

* **Daily** — A summary delivered once per day
* **Weekly** — A summary delivered once per week

The digest frequency selector appears below the activity digest toggle when it's turned on.

Digests include a summary of recent activity across your organizations, helping you stay informed without checking the app constantly.

  If no notable activity occurred since your last digest, no email is sent — you'll only receive digests when there's something to report.

## Email delivery

All notification emails are sent from your organization's configured sender address. If you're not receiving emails:

* Check your spam or junk folder
* Verify your email address is correct in your profile settings
* Ensure the notification type is toggled on in your preferences
